Kicking off its fiscal year on Monday, July 1, the Visiting Nurse Association of Texas (VNA) has six new board members including Katie Edwards, Elizabeth E. Mack, Michael Parrish, Rev. Mark Porter, Nancy H. Rogers and Moses Varghese.
In addition to the new board members, VNA’s new mission is “to provide care to our community, enhancing health and well-being with compassion, dignity and integrity.”
According to VNA of Texas President/CEO Kathleen Krause, “With the addition of the Community Health Worker team, as well as the increases in our wraparound service offerings, and our growing pediatric hospice program, VNA’s new mission statement reflects our commitment to meeting the clinical and social service needs of those facing serious illness, hunger, and isolation.”
The new members will join the board officers Chair Kevin Eden, Chair-Elect Jordan Brainerd, Treasurer Luke Pak and Secretary Levi H. Davis, as well as returning board members Liz Beauchamp; Cathy Bryan, MHA, BSN, RN; Mike Casey; Julie D. Clark; Catherine A. Corrigan; Cece Cox; Matthew R. Craft; Effie Dennison; Sally Nicholson Dutter; Christian Evans; Dr. Robert L. Fine; Kathleen Gibson; Elizabeth Gill; Kelby Hagar; Benjamin Isgur; Kirsten Kerrigan; Eugenia King; Louise Marsh; Christi Morrow; Frank Noel; Yesenia Reyes; John Rich; Catherine M. Rose; Chris L. Simmons and Andres Villareal.
