We’re excited to announce the opening of the first and only Assisted Living Facility in North Texas for seriously ill individuals with no place to turn. Katherine’s House will provide a safe, compassionate place for patients without adequate housing, caregivers, or resources to spend their final days with dignity. Scheduled to open in Dallas in 2027, this five-bedroom home will offer 24-hour care and the full benefits of hospice in a warm, supportive environment.

VNA is North Texas’ most trusted provider of quality health care services in the home and is the first, most experienced Hospice Care provider in Texas. VNA offers Meals on Wheels in Dallas County, Supportive Palliative Care, and adult and pediatric Hospice Care in Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Henderson, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Rockwall, Tarrant, Van Zandt, and Wise Counties.

VNA Meals on Wheels delivers more than just a meal; we deliver food and friendship to more than 5,000 seniors each weekday.
VNA fosters healthier communities as our aging population grows. We help North Texans live happier, healthier lives with dignity and respect. We are proud to be a leading nonprofit, supported by the community since 1934. We are the most experienced and trusted health care provider for the aging, and we combat food insecurity among seniors with our Meals on Wheels program.
The senior population is expected to double by 2050, putting stress on our already overburdened health care system. As the population grows, so will the number of people who are homebound and hungry. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of our donors and volunteers. Your support makes our work possible.
After a lifetime of serving others as a pastor, husband, father, and community leader, Leonard Davis turned to VNA Hospice during the final chapter of his life. Surrounded by family, he received compassionate care that honored not only his physical needs, but also the life he had lived. Through conversations with our hospice team, Leonard reflected on his faith, his family, and the legacy he hoped to leave behind.
