From the VNA Meals on Wheels staff to all of our Volunteers, you are appreciated! Thanks to YOU, VNA Meals on Wheels volunteers have delivered 41.94% of the total meals delivered so far this fiscal year—178,314 meals! Volunteers have also delivered 14,643 pounds of pet food to clients’ dogs and cats. Thank you!

The VNA Meals on Wheels KIDS CAMP IS HERE!
|
Are you looking for a meaningful experience for your 8-11 year old this summer? The Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) has a great opportunity this summer—VNA Meals on Wheels KIDS CAMP!
We have created a camp to empower the next generation of volunteers and philanthropists by teaching them:
- The reality of senior hunger in our community
- The importance of good nutrition
- How to combat social isolation
- The gift of volunteerism
Campers will take a behind-the-scenes tour of the VNA Meals on Wheels kitchen, deliver a Meals on Wheels route, and participate in various activities to encourage learning and empathy regarding senior hunger and isolation, as well as the importance of lifelong volunteerism. Deliver Food and Friendship to Furry Companions!
|
Did you know that VNA Meals on Wheels delivers pet food to our clients’ fur babies every third Saturday of the month? If you have some extra time, please sign up to deliver! Simply log into the volunteer portal and click on your calendar to find Saturday Pet Food deliveries for the remainder of the year.
A friendly reminder the pet food routes do NOT show up in your mobile app; you will receive a paper manifest on the day of deliveries. Routes can be picked up the Friday prior to delivery.

Group service opportunities are available year-round and can include one-time events, collection drives, regular routes and much more!
