VNA Ann’s Haven Cuts Ribbon on New Location
On Dec. 10, VNA Ann’s Haven hosted a Denton Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting to officially open its new location. VNA President and CEO Katherine Krause joined with other members of the VNA leadership team, local staff, volunteers and the Denton Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the opening of a new office at 1204 W. University, Suite 150 in Denton.
“VNA Ann’s Haven has been a part of the Denton community since 1978,” Krause said. “We’re excited to ‘officially’ open our new, larger location with this Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting. Both VNA Ann’s Haven and our patients have enjoyed a smooth transition from our old location to our new.”
VNA Ann’s Haven was the first licensed hospice provider in Texas and one of the first in the United States. Last year, VNA Ann’s Haven provided Hospice Care for more than 150 patients in the Denton area, including some who had no access to Medicare or other means to pay. In 2015, readers of the Denton Record-Chronicle selected VNA Ann’s Haven as the Best Hospice Provider in the newspaper’s Reader’s Choice awards.
